Bio

Julia Daniel's areas of interest include the role of cities and nature in modern American poetry, landscaping traditions in modernist literature, and American drama. She has published work on the role of urbanism in modernism, popular culture in T. S. Eliot’s The Waste Land, and metatheatre in Sweeney Agonistes. She shares her office with a tenacious orchid and an ever-expanding collection of postcards.
