Bio

Becca Cassady directs the Division of Graduate Writing within the Center for Writing Excellence (Baylor’s writing center). She currently teaches rhetoric and composition courses for the PWR program, including the introductory course and technical writing. She also stays involved with the Honors College by leading mission trips, serving on thesis committees, and mentoring students. Her primary research is concerned with learning transfer, identity, and expertise among writing consultants—particularly graduate students— in a university writing center setting.

Outside of work, Dr. Cassady loves traveling, watching and playing tennis, painting and appreciating art, spending time outdoors, and celebrating others.
