Research Interests

Taylor Hare’s areas of interest include Shakespeare and early modern drama, the history of material texts, disability studies, and the digital humanities. His scholarship appears or is forthcoming in Papers of the Bibliographical Society of America, Inscription, and Journal of Early Modern Studies, and his work has been supported by grants from Princeton University, Smith College, the University of Glasgow, and the Library Company of Philadelphia. He is currently writing a book that explains how the works of Shakespeare, Milton, Bunyan, and other early modern authors were first published in tactile form for blind and low-vision readers.
