Savannah Battle

  • Master's Student

Education

Cedarville University, May 2025

Research Interests

Still an embryo of an English scholar, Savannah's research interests include a modern approach to secularity in medieval romance and the relationship between poetry, imagination, and popular treatment of natural spaces. Her senior thesis “Genesis 1-2: For a Biblical Ethic of Land Use” intersects literary analysis, biblical studies, and ecological stewardship. She will happily nerd out about biblical theology, trees, or Augustine.

Bio

Savannah Battle is a first-year MA student recovering from nostalgia for Ohio cornfields, where she studied the Liberal Arts at Cedarville University. Her studies also included a minor in Bible and a concentration in environmental science. Adding a few hot-takes to that list, she also enjoys running, yard work, raisins in apple pie, and hot coffee in summer.
