Research Interests

Zsanna’s research focuses on transnational conversations in American literature, especially the writings of Constance Fenimore Woolson, Louisa May Alcott, and Mark Twain. Her master's thesis explored how first-edition Hungarian translations of Twain's novels respond to Twain's depiction of American slavery. Zsanna has a secondary research interest in examining the intersection of music theory, literature, and spiritual encounter.
